In April 2012 I had a dream so profound I painted a picture of it to remind myself of just how amazing that place that I went to felt. I've never had a dream like that before, or since. It was exceptional. I wish you could know what it felt like. It was ethereal. It felt like an epiphany. What was the purpose behind this dream? I think it was for me to ponder that there really is a place like this, and to share that hope with others. Is it a vision of Heaven? I'd like to think so. In attempting to paint the essence of that dream, translating it to canvas, I started a journey into what I call, "Painting Atmosphere" where I attempt to paint what I feel in my private studio sessions. I have had moments there that have totally wrecked me in all the best ways possible with the deep part of my spirit encountering Deep. And it feels like complete and unconditional love. What an inexpressible gift that is. My hope is that when you look at my art, be it on canvas, or in word, that you experience that same power and that it transforms your soul. There's more than what we know. We need it, and it's for all of us.

It's summer. I hear laughter. People are playing. My heart is light. The sky is clear and blue. The sun is warm on my face. The water warm on my skin. The sunlight dapples through the leaves. I am happy and free. Such an affinity for this place, like I have spent my whole life here. So familiar. So dear.
Every detail is love.
